A man has listed his sunken car for sale at just £1,340 after it ended up in a pond and was left submerged for days.
Seller Kris M Harkey insists he wasn’t inebriated when the incident occurred but was trying to save another prized possession – his lawnmower.
The zero turn mower was thankfully fine.

His 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD pickup on the other hand needs some major TLC as it was left blowing bubbles under water for days, reports Luxury Auto News.
The water damage proved too expensive to fix, so Kris has decided to sell the vehicle instead.
On the listing he said: “ [The truck] fell into my pond while I was attempting to rescue my zero-turn mover. ([I was] not drunk when it happened).
“Yes the zero-turn was rescued and runs fine.
“Unfortunately for me, I don’t have the funds to fix the truck.”
While the car has been listed at an attractive price in Clarksville, Arkansas, it will require quite a lot of maintenance by its future owner.
Kris stated: “Will need new spark plugs and wires.
“Plus a new battery would be advisable.
“Driver’s side door will need to be replaced as well.
“No smoke was let out from the fuse box either.
“Selling at this cheap price due to water damage.
“Will need to be trailered or towed due being under 9ft of water for a few days.”
But it’s not all bad as the engine “turns over by hand and ignition freely”.
The vehicle also has a “good 6.0 LS engine”.
Prospective buyers have strong thoughts on the post.
Kris is asking only people who are seriously interested get in touch and to not waste his time.
He added: “Clean title in hand. Serious inquiries only!!!
“If you have rude comments about the post, please keep them to yourself.
“I don’t have the time or the energy to deal with nonsense.”
The vehicle can be seen under water, as well as coming out of the lake to really give you the full picture of the fateful events that unfolded.
If you fancy a fixer-upper and don’t mind finding some hidden fish in the engine, it could be all yours.
The car is listed at $1,700 USD (approximately £1,340).
