Li Auto delivered 53,709 vehicles in September 2024, marking a 48.9% year-over-year increase, with Q3 deliveries reaching 152,831 and cumulative deliveries nearing one million.

Li Auto Inc. (Nasdaq: LI; HKEX: 2015), a leader in China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) market, announced a significant milestone with 53,709 vehicles delivered in September 2024, marking a 48.9% year-over-year increase.

This brought the company’s third-quarter deliveries to 152,831, up 45.4% compared to the same period last year. As of September 30, Li Auto has delivered 341,812 vehicles in 2024, pushing its cumulative deliveries to 975,176.

Chairman and CEO Xiang Li attributed the growth to the rising penetration of NEVs, which now exceeds 50%, and Li Auto’s strong performance in the RMB200,000 and above market, where it holds over 17% market share.

He also noted increasing demand for the Li L series and Li MEGA models, leading to record deliveries in September.

Looking ahead, the company is set to reach a major milestone in October, with the production and delivery of its one-millionth vehicle, the first emerging NEV automaker in China to achieve this.

Xiang Li emphasized the significance of this achievement, highlighting advancements in autonomous driving technologies and the company’s commitment to monthly over-the-air (OTA) updates.

By the end of September, Li Auto operated 479 retail stores and 436 service centers across China, supported by 894 supercharging stations. The company continues to expand its footprint while focusing on delivering safe, convenient, and family-oriented electric vehicles.

Li Auto remains a key player in China’s rapidly growing NEV market, balancing its success in extended-range electric vehicles with its development of battery electric platforms.
