Li Auto Inc., a prominent player in China’s new energy vehicle market, reported record-breaking performance for December 2024, delivering 58,513 vehicles.

This marks a 16.2% increase compared to the same period last year. For the entire year, the company achieved 500,508 deliveries, a significant milestone just five years after launching its first vehicle. Cumulative deliveries have now reached 1,133,872.

The December results highlight Li Auto’s rapid growth trajectory, with the company setting the record for the fastest annual delivery growth among premium auto brands in China. In addition, Li Auto’s proprietary smart assistant, Li Xiang Tong Xue, is now available on mobile devices, expanding its accessibility.

Looking ahead, Li Auto plans to release an over-the-air (OTA) software update, version 7.0, in January. This update will enhance its highway Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) system by integrating city and highway navigation capabilities, powered by the company’s advanced end-to-end architecture and vision-language model. A novel intelligent reasoning visualization function will also be introduced, offering users a transparent view of the system’s decision-making processes for safer autonomous driving.

As of December 31, 2024, Li Auto’s operational footprint included 502 retail stores across 150 cities, along with 478 servicing centers and authorized body and paint shops in 225 cities. The company also operates 1,727 supercharging stations with over 9,100 charging stalls in China.

Li Auto’s vehicle lineup currently features five models, including its flagship Li MEGA and a range of family SUVs, all designed to offer safety, convenience, and comfort. The company remains committed to advancing both extended-range and battery electric vehicle platforms to cater to an increasingly diverse user base.
