Lexus has unveiled the Surf LX Concept, a one-of-a-kind SUV designed specifically for surfers. Created in collaboration with the World Surf League, this unique LX model blends rugged off-road capability with surf-centric features, making it the ultimate adventure vehicle for wave riders.
Built on Lexus’ GA-F platform with a robust body-on-frame structure and permanent 4×4 drive, the Surf LX Concept is equipped to handle sandy beaches with ease.

It features 20-inch gray aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, while its exterior styling takes inspiration from the ocean, with a matte blue body, white roof, and black accents on the grille, mirrors, and door handles.
A tubular roof rack provides secure storage for surfboards, complemented by a side-mounted ladder with integrated LED lighting.
Inside, the SUV is tailored for surfing enthusiasts. The rear cargo area includes slide-out compartments for essentials like wax, towels, and sunscreen, complete with built-in ventilation.
A dedicated board stand ensures safe transport, while a Dometic fridge keeps drinks cool. Additional practical touches include a pull-out table for board waxing and a special changing mat to keep wetsuits clean.
Professional surfer and Lexus ambassador Griffin Colapinto praised the concept, calling it more than just an SUV—it’s a vehicle built for adventure. Though only one Surf LX Concept exists, it perfectly showcases Lexus’ vision of blending luxury with extreme outdoor functionality.
