Lexus has expanded its plug-in hybrid lineup with the NX 450 h+ and RX 450 h+, offering impressive efficiency, refined driving dynamics, and practical everyday usability.
Both SUVs feature a 309-hp system combining a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine with front and rear electric motors, powered by an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery.
With a higher electric output than the combustion engine, these models enable dynamic city driving in EV mode without needing the petrol engine.

The NX 450 h+ delivers up to 98 km of all-electric range, while the larger RX 450 h+ achieves nearly 70 km, placing them among the best in their class.
Even after the battery is depleted, they seamlessly switch to hybrid mode, maintaining efficiency and ensuring consistent performance. Thanks to the Predictive Efficient Drive system, which learns driving patterns and optimizes energy use, these SUVs maximize fuel savings while providing smooth acceleration and responsiveness.

Lexus has also incorporated advanced EV technology into its plug-in hybrids. A standard energy-efficient heat pump, functional in temperatures as low as -10°C, reduces energy consumption while maintaining cabin comfort.
The 2025 RX 450 h+ Omotenashi edition introduces radiant heating for front passengers, a feature borrowed from the all-electric Lexus RZ, offering faster warmth while reducing strain on the air conditioning system.

Designed for daily practicality, these SUVs retain the same spacious interiors and cargo capacities as their hybrid counterparts, with the battery placed under the floor for a lower center of gravity and improved ride quality.
Enhanced soundproofing further refines the driving experience, as the larger electric motors minimize engine load and noise. Ground clearance and towing capacity remain unchanged, with the NX 450 h+ capable of towing 1,500 kg and the RX 450 h+ up to 2,000 kg.

Lexus has also made plug-in hybrid ownership more accessible. For 2025, the price gap between plug-in and standard hybrid versions in the KINTO One leasing program is just PLN 100 per month.
The NX 450 h+ Prestige starts at PLN 1,590 net/month, while the RX 450 h+ Elegance is available for PLN 2,540 net/month under a three-year lease with a 15% upfront fee and 10,000 km annual mileage limit.

With greater electric capability, cutting-edge technology, and competitive pricing, the Lexus NX 450 h+ and RX 450 h+ set a new benchmark for premium plug-in hybrid SUVs.
