Lexus is set to showcase an impressive lineup of off-road expedition vehicles and prototypes at the Tokyo Outdoor Show from June 28-30. The highlight of the event will be the range of vehicles from the Lexus Overtrail project, presented at the Snow Peak stand, a company known for its camping accessories and gear.
The name Overtrail is a blend of “Overland” and “Trail,” symbolizing travel on unpaved roads in harmony with nature. These vehicles are equipped with modified suspensions and various accessories to enhance off-road driving and camping experiences.
One of the standout models is the Lexus NX 450h+ Overtrail, available in Poland. This plug-in hybrid vehicle boasts 309 horsepower and has undergone significant off-road modifications.

The Overtrail version features a 15 mm raised suspension, bringing the vehicle height to 1,675 mm and increasing ground clearance to 200 mm. Additional rear suspension reinforcements and 18-inch aluminum rims with all-terrain tires further enhance its off-road capabilities.
The NX 450h+ Overtrail also stands out with unique styling. It features black painted mirrors, door handles, fenders, roof rails, and radiator grille. The tailgate showcases the LEXUS inscription in gray, and the exclusive Moon Desert paint adds a distinctive touch.
Inside, the seat upholstery is made from black synthetic leather with khaki inserts, a motif that extends to the door panels and center console storage compartment cover. The new Geo Layer decorative strip, inspired by sedimentary rock layers, adds to the unique interior design. In Poland, the NX 450h+ Overtrail is priced from PLN 374,900, with a classic hybrid and intelligent E-FOUR all-wheel drive version starting at PLN 330,900.
Other models from the Lexus Overtrail project will also be featured at the Tokyo fair, including the GX 550 Overtrail+. This pure 4×4 vehicle, although not available in Poland, boasts increased ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and reinforcements for off-road driving.
Lexus will also unveil the RZ Outdoor Concept, an off-road version of its electric car. This concept features a two-tone body paint and dual 313-horsepower electric motors, providing power to all four wheels.
The suspension is raised by 20 mm, and the vehicle includes 18-inch rims with all-terrain tires, modified front and rear bumpers that extend the body by 25 mm, special underbody protection, enhanced lighting for night driving, and a hook for mounting a bicycle rack.
The lineup will be rounded out by the Lexus ROV Concept (Recreational Off-highway Vehicle), featuring a 1.0-liter hydrogen combustion engine that produces zero CO2 emissions. This model combines emission-free driving with extreme off-road capabilities, thanks to its long-travel suspension, roll cage, and thick tires suitable for muddy terrain. Its compact dimensions (3,122 mm long, 1,725 mm wide, and 1,800 mm high) ensure easy maneuverability.
This diverse and innovative range of vehicles highlights Lexus’s commitment to combining luxury with rugged off-road performance, catering to adventure enthusiasts and environmentally conscious drivers alike.
