A vintage Bentley, once owned by actor Leslie Neilsen, is heading to auction for £155,000.
This 1965 S3 Continental is extremely rare and one of only 16 left-hand drives built.
Since it was first delivered, the car has remained in private hands and was part of Naked Gun star Neilsen’s estate when he died.

He passed away in 2010, aged 84.

The ultimate in hand-built saloons, its custom bodywork has been faithfully restored to its original Black Pearl exterior and two-tone grey leather interior.

Equipped with a potent V8 engine, the motor powers from 0-60 seconds in just 7.2 seconds.
Totally refurbished and in excellent condition, it drives like a modern-day car and features factory power windows, air-con and a coveted continental touring spares kit, as reported by Luxury Auto News.

The car will go under the hammer in Monterey, California, US, on 15 August.

Broad Arrow Auctions, who are hosting the event, said: “The Bentley S3 Continental combines the best of pre-war build quality with the apex of full-chassis evolution before the advent of monocoque construction.

“Enthusiasts generally agree that the S3 Continental drives and performs far more like a modern car compared to its two previous models in the series.

“This is a nearly unique opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable post-war examples of a Bentley saloon.”
