Lancia has officially returned to the BeLux market with a unique drive event in Waterloo, blending its storied past with a bold step into the future.

Journalists were invited to test the all-new Lancia Ypsilon—available in both 100% electric and hybrid variants—alongside iconic models like the Aurelia B50 Cabriolet, Delta HF, Fulvia Sport 1600, Flavia Cabriolet Vignale, and Thema 8.32.

This gathering of legends and innovation marked the beginning of a new era for Lancia in the region.

At the center was the new Ypsilon, which combines Italian design and premium comfort with modern tech.

The electric version boasts 156 hp, a 51 kWh battery, up to 403 km of range (WLTP), and fast charging capabilities, while the hybrid version offers a 1.2-liter 100 hp engine, low emissions, and electric-only features for low-speed maneuvers.

Lancia also reaffirmed its motorsport spirit with a return to rallying through Rally 4 and the launch of the Lancia Rally Trophy—aimed at supporting young drivers in the Italian rally championship. This move honors Lancia’s legacy as the most successful rally brand in history, with 10 world titles.

Among the classic models showcased, the rare Fulvia Sport 1600 stood out with its Zagato styling and lightweight build, while the Delta HF reminded everyone of Lancia’s rally dominance in the ’80s and ’90s.
