On November 27, Lancia marked its 118th anniversary with a series of events across Italy, France, and Spain, celebrating its iconic legacy and looking ahead to a promising future.

At the historic Via Plava headquarters in Turin, employees and top management gathered to honor the brand’s achievements, with the New Ypsilon prominently displayed as a symbol of Lancia’s renaissance.

Founded in 1906 by Vincenzo Lancia, the brand has become synonymous with Italian elegance and innovation.

Iconic models such as the Lambda, Aurelia, and Delta defined automotive history, while its rally dominance with vehicles like the Stratos and 037 cemented its sporting legacy. Lancia’s timeless designs have also shone on the silver screen, featuring in classics like Il Sorpasso and more recent films like Angels & Demons.

The New Ypsilon, launched as the forerunner of Lancia’s new era, combines heritage with cutting-edge technology, including hybrid and electric options. Its design pays homage to legendary models while embracing modern innovation, like the S.A.L.A. system and Level 2 autonomous driving.

As part of its global renaissance, Lancia plans to expand its exclusive Casa Lancia showrooms beyond Italy, targeting major cities across Europe by 2025. The brand’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and its rich history continues to define its ambitious future.
