Building on this success, MMNA has partnered with LaFontaine Automotive Group, the 30th largest U.S. dealer group, to open two Mitsubishi dealerships in Ann Arbor and Lansing, Michigan, with plans for further expansion by mid-2026.

This follows a recent partnership with Walser Automotive Group, further solidifying Mitsubishi’s growing dealer network.

“With Momentum 2030, we knew Mitsubishi would turn heads,” said Mark Chaffin, MMNA president and CEO. “LaFontaine’s investment is a testament to our strong future and the brand’s resurgence.”

Ryan LaFontaine, CEO of LaFontaine Automotive Group, emphasized Mitsubishi’s importance in diversifying their offerings and enhancing customer choices.

The group, which operates 58 franchises and 42 retail locations, is committed to delivering an exceptional dealership experience as it expands with Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi continues its aggressive expansion, aiming to double its vehicle lineup by 2030 with a mix of ICE, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric models. Interested dealers can learn more at mitsubishicars.com.
