The all-electric 2024 Kia EV9 has earned the title of “Top Pick: 3-Row Electric SUV” from Cars.com, standing out among a range of competitive electric vehicles across categories like 2-Row EV SUV, Electric Car, Value EV, and Luxury EV.

Cars.com editors noted that no other three-row EV SUV currently on the market rivals the EV9’s combination of space, style, and value.

According to Brian Normile, Cars.com’s road test editor, the EV9 is “an ideal vehicle for a family looking to get into a three-row electric vehicle,” with features that balance spaciousness, modern design, and affordability—factors critical to today’s shoppers.

Steven Center, COO & EVP of Kia America, expressed pride in the EV9’s recognition, emphasizing its blend of functionality and electric innovation.

The EV9’s design includes ample interior room, towing capacity, high-end features, and cutting-edge technology, such as over-the-air updates, ultra-wideband Digital Key, and Onboard Power Generator functionality.

The standard EV9 model is powered by a 76.1-kWh battery with a 160-kW (215-hp) motor and offers DC fast-charging compatibility. For those seeking more power, an optional 99.8-kWh battery with a dual-motor setup can deliver up to 379 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, with torque-vectoring all-wheel drive.

Fast charging capability allows the EV9 to recharge from 10% to 80% in under 25 minutes on a 350kW DC fast charger, providing convenience for families on the go. The award highlights the EV9’s role as a versatile and family-friendly addition to the EV market.
