Kia America delivered 63,303 vehicles in February, marking its fifth consecutive month of record-breaking sales. Retail sales rose 9.1% year-over-year, driven by strong demand for SUVs, electrified vehicles, and sedans.

The all-new K4 compact sedan reached a record 11,669 units, while the Carnival MPV (+44%), Sportage (+8%), and Telluride (+13%) posted their best-ever February performances. Electrified vehicle sales surged 22%, setting a new February record.

Eric Watson, Kia America’s VP of sales operations, credited the growth to the brand’s diverse lineup of ICE and electrified powertrains, highlighting Kia’s continued momentum.

Beyond sales, Kia announced key industry recognitions. Seven Kia models, including the K5, EV6, and Telluride, made the 2025 Car and Driver Editors’ Choice Awards list.

The Carnival won a PARENTS Best Family Cars Award for “Best Hybrid Minivan,” while Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) was named “Best In-Car Multimedia/Entertainment System.” The EV9 and Telluride also secured Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards in their respective categories.

Kia celebrated the full-scale national launch of the Ionna charging network, which aims to deploy over 1,000 high-speed charging bays in 2025, enhancing EV infrastructure and reliability for drivers.
