Notably, the diesel engine is now available on the off-road-oriented AT4 and the new AT4 Ultimate trims for the first time.

The updated Yukon brings significant visual upgrades, including redesigned grille patterns, animated lighting elements, liftgate badging, and the option of a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the cabin centers around a massive 16.8-inch vertical Premium GMC Infotainment Center, offering customizable integration for maps, media, diagnostics, and more. An 8-inch touchscreen for rear climate control is also available, enhancing passenger comfort.

Two standout trims take center stage: the Denali Ultimate and the all-new AT4 Ultimate.

Denali Ultimate adds a new level of refinement with exclusive 24-inch laser-etched wheels, 16-way massaging front seats, second-row executive captain’s chairs, open-pore wood with etched topographical patterns, chrome accents, and a 22-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system that even integrates speakers into the front headrests.

AT4 Ultimate, blending off-road capability with premium comfort, features a front skid plate, 20-inch all-terrain tires, and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension capable of raising the vehicle two inches for extra ground clearance. Inside, the Obsidian Rush cabin boasts three rows of full-grain leather, Ash Burl wood accents, and upscale interior finishes.

Advanced safety and tech features are also a major highlight of the 2025 Yukon. Available Night Vision uses thermal imaging to detect pedestrians and animals in low-light conditions, while new standard safety features include Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Intersection AEB, and Side Bicyclist Alert.

The SUV also offers the latest version of Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free driving system, now enhanced with hands-free trailering across a growing network of North American roads.

Towing technology has also been significantly upgraded. The 2025 Yukon can tow up to 8,400 pounds and features tools like Blind Zone Steering Assist for extended trailer lengths, Transparent Trailer View for rear visibility, Trailer Reverse Trajectory with visual path tracking, and new trailer tire health monitoring. Jackknife Alert adds another layer of safety for trailer maneuvering.

Production of the 2025 GMC Yukon will take place at GM’s Arlington Assembly plant in Texas, with availability expected by late 2024. Pricing and additional details will be announced closer to launch.
