A Refined, More Capable FCEV

The second-gen NEXO brings a dramatically improved powertrain, featuring a new motor system and high-efficiency inverter. Total output jumps from 135 kW to 190 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 7.8 seconds.

The upgraded fuel cell stack produces 110 kW, supports better low-temperature operation, and enhances durability. Towing capacity is now available (up to 1,000 kg), making the NEXO the first FCEV with this feature.

Distinctive Design and Spacious Interior

Based on the INITIUM concept, the NEXO debuts Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ design language with a bold, aerodynamic profile, signature HTWO lamps, and six nature-inspired paint options.

Inside, it’s all about comfort and space—with Premium Relaxation Seats, a curved display, smart storage, and nearly 993 liters of cargo capacity. Sustainable materials like bio-based leathers, recycled PET fabrics, and eco-friendly paints are used throughout.

Tech-Forward and User-Centric

The NEXO packs cutting-edge technology: a dual 12.3-inch curved display, AI-powered voice assistant, FCEV Route Planner, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

There’s dual wireless charging, Digital Key 2 support for smartphones and wearables, and advanced biometrics like fingerprint authentication.

A head-up display, Built-in Cam 2 Plus for high-def video recording, digital mirrors, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality add to the futuristic appeal.

Enhanced Safety and ADAS

Designed for top safety ratings, NEXO includes a reinforced multi-skeleton structure, up to nine airbags, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS features.

These include Lane Keeping Assist, Highway Driving Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance, and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, among many others.

Global Rollout and Hydrogen Leadership

The all-new NEXO is expected to hit global markets later this year, further reinforcing Hyundai’s leadership in hydrogen mobility through its HTWO brand.

It represents Hyundai’s holistic approach to sustainable transportation—expanding beyond battery electrics to include hydrogen-powered smart solutions for diverse mobility needs.

Hyundai will continue to share updates via its social media channels and YouTube as it prepares to bring the NEXO to more drivers worldwide.
