Hyundai has achieved significant recognition in the 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards, securing six wins across various categories. The 2024 Hyundai Elantra was honored as the Best Vehicle for First-time New Car Buyers and was also named the Top Pick for Urbanites.
The IONIQ 5 received accolades in three categories, being recognized as the Top Pick for Tomorrow Seekers, Suburbanites, and New Parents. Additionally, the IONIQ 6 was acknowledged as a Top Pick for Tomorrow Seekers. This year, Newsweek categorized vehicles into thirteen psychographic segments to better reflect new car buyer behavior and driving preferences.
Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai Motor North America’s senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy, expressed pride in these achievements. “A lot of blood, sweat and tears go into our Hyundai products,” Boyle said. “The product recognitions give credit to all the hard-working women and men of Hyundai who continue to listen to the customer and deliver beautifully designed, high-quality and safe vehicles that diverse customers want and the reliability they deserve. Regardless of what phase of life you are in, Hyundai offers something for everyone.”
