Hyundai announces refreshed 2025 IONIQ 5 with updated pricing, improved range, faster charging, and new rugged XRT trim, offering enhanced tech, safety features, and off-road versatility.

Hyundai has unveiled details for the refreshed 2025 IONIQ 5 EV lineup, highlighting new pricing, extended driving ranges, faster charge times, and added features.

The base IONIQ 5 SE RWD Standard Range starts at $43,975 and features a larger 63-kWh battery offering a 245-mile range, while the SE RWD Long Range with an 84-kWh battery achieves an impressive 318 miles on a single charge, priced from $48,025. The top-tier Limited AWD trim, priced at $58,100, offers 269 miles of EPA-estimated range and a suite of new safety and convenience upgrades.

The 2025 IONIQ 5 introduces the rugged XRT trim, featuring all-terrain tires, Terrain Mode with Snow, Sand, and Mud settings, and a raised 7.0-inch ground clearance. Priced at $56,875, this model is designed for off-road versatility, with unique styling elements like etched digital camouflage cladding, black trim, and all-weather floor mats.

With a new North American Charging Standard (NACS) port and a CCS adapter, all 2025 IONIQ 5 models are compatible with 36,000 DC fast chargers across the U.S., enabling a rapid 10-80% charge in about 20 minutes on a 350-kW charger. All models built at Hyundai’s Metaplant in Georgia are eligible for federal tax credits, providing $3,750 for purchases and $7,500 for leases.

New exterior updates include restyled bumpers, aerodynamic wheels, and available roof rails. Inside, enhancements include upgraded HVAC controls, a revamped center console, heated rear seats on SEL and higher, and a standard 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Advanced safety features, including Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, come standard on higher trims, making the 2025 IONIQ 5 more tech-forward and user-friendly than ever.

The 2025 IONIQ 5 models will be available at Hyundai dealerships by the end of the year.
