Hyundai Motor Group has unveiled its comprehensive hydrogen solutions and future roadmap at H2 MEET 2024, Korea’s largest hydrogen industry exhibition, taking place from September 25 to 27 at KINTEX near Seoul.
The Group, under its HTWO brand, is presenting its innovations across the entire hydrogen value chain, building on the hydrogen vision introduced at CES 2024.
For the first time, all Hyundai affiliates—Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Rotem, Hyundai Steel, Hyundai Engineering, Hyundai E&C, and Hyundai Glovis—are participating together under the HTWO brand.

At its expansive booth, Hyundai is showcasing four hydrogen business solutions through scenario-based exhibitions, offering insights into the company’s hydrogen strategy.
One key focus is on resource-cycle hydrogen production technologies, with Hyundai’s Waste-to-Hydrogen (W2H) and Plastic-to-Hydrogen (P2H) solutions converting organic waste and non-recyclable plastics into hydrogen.
Hyundai is also highlighting its PEM electrolysis technology, which produces high-purity hydrogen, and Korea’s first W2H and PEM electrolysis facilities.
The exhibition also addresses industrial applications, showcasing how Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered trucks and infrastructure are transforming high-emission sectors like ports and airports.
In California, Hyundai’s XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks are already reducing emissions at the Port of Oakland, while hydrogen infrastructure is being expanded at Incheon International Airport.
In line with its goal of achieving net zero by 2045, Hyundai is committed to leading the global energy transition by advancing hydrogen technology across various industries and everyday life.
Hyundai’s exhibition culminates with a vision of a future hydrogen society, demonstrating how hydrogen can transform industries and living environments, ultimately driving a sustainable future.
