Hyundai Motor Group and Suprema have signed an MoU to develop an AI-driven security solution integrating robotics and biometric access control.
This partnership aims to set new industry standards and expand robot-friendly building services by combining facial recognition technology with physical security solutions.
A successful deployment at Factorial Seongsu showcased the integration of 53 facial recognition devices and a fleet of service robots, enhancing autonomous services such as food and package delivery.

Hyundai’s Robotics LAB and Suprema will further develop RTS (Robotics Total Solution) by integrating AI, robotics, and cloud-based security technologies.
Suprema will streamline robot mobility by using its access API, allowing robots to navigate speed gates, automatic doors, and elevators without direct integration with each manufacturer.
The partnership will also explore AIoT opportunities, pushing the boundaries of autonomous security systems.
Both companies aim to establish new security standards and certifications, paving the way for advanced robot-friendly infrastructure and AI-driven automation, including AI drones and acoustic detection systems.
