The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony at the Singapore-Korea Business Forum on October 8, attended by top executives from Hyundai and NTU, along with ministers from Singapore and South Korea.
The initiative will explore hydrogen production technologies, including Hyundai’s Plastic-to-Hydrogen (P2H) and Waste-to-Hydrogen (W2H) systems, as well as modular energy systems suited to urban environments.
In addition, Hyundai and NTU, alongside Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), have established a joint research center to further innovations in AI, robotics, and 3D printing, aiming to enhance Singapore’s sustainable energy landscape.
Hyundai’s partnership with NTU is part of a broader effort to develop cutting-edge solutions in the global push for carbon neutrality.
