Hyundai Motor America achieved a record-breaking January with 54,503 total sales, marking a 15% increase over January 2024—its best-ever start to the year.

Several models set all-time January sales records, including the Santa Fe HEV (+160%), Tucson HEV (+89%), IONIQ 5 (+54%), and IONIQ 6 (+15%). Hybrid electric vehicle sales surged 74%, while total EV sales grew 15%.

CEO Randy Parker credited strong demand across Hyundai’s electrified and ICE lineup, highlighting key model performances.

The Tucson led with 15,025 units sold (+35%), followed by the Santa Fe (8,296, +38%), Elantra (8,866, +28%), and Sonata (4,757, +52%). Meanwhile, the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 continued their growth, up 54% and 15%, respectively.
