Hyundai is set to unveil its 2025 IONIQ 9, a flagship all-electric, three-row SUV, on Thursday, November 21 at 9:10 a.m. PT (12:10 p.m. ET) with a live-streamed news conference from the Los Angeles Auto Show’s AutoMobility LA event. Hyundai will also introduce its INITIUM hydrogen fuel cell concept vehicle, giving audiences a glimpse into its latest innovations.
The IONIQ 9 joins Hyundai’s electric IONIQ lineup, offering a spacious, upscale design with aerodynamic lines and Hyundai’s signature digital pixel lighting. Described by Hyundai’s Head of Design, Simon Loasby, as “sculptural” and “serene,” the IONIQ 9 combines advanced design with a welcoming, lounge-like interior.

Hyundai executives, including José Muñoz, Olabisi Boyle, and Simon Loasby, will provide insights into the model’s features and Hyundai’s mobility strategies during the event.
Additionally, Hyundai’s INITIUM hydrogen fuel cell concept will be on display, showcasing Hyundai’s commitment to alternative fuel technologies.
