Hyundai’s all-electric IONIQ 5 N SUV dominated the 2024 Drive Revolution competition, winning Best Performance, Best Electrified Vehicle, and Best Battery Electric Vehicle.
Hosted by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA), the event saw the IONIQ 5 N outperform both electrified and non-electrified models, including high-end supercars and luxury sedans.
“We set out to redefine what an electric vehicle can be,” said Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai Motor North America’s SVP of Product Planning and Mobility Strategy. “The 5 N delivers a thrilling, track-ready experience that stands out in the world of performance cars.”
Journalists were impressed by the IONIQ 5 N’s powerful acceleration and precision handling, rare traits for an electric SUV.
As Hyundai’s first electrified model to bear the N badge, the IONIQ 5 N showcases Hyundai’s electrification vision, offering racetrack performance without sacrificing daily drivability.
The Drive Revolution Awards highlight advanced automotive technologies, with 20 media professionals evaluating 23 vehicles over three days in Ridgefield, Washington.
