Hyundai Motor Company’s INSTER has been named a Top 3 finalist in the 2025 World Car Awards, marking the brand’s fourth consecutive year of recognition in the prestigious competition.
The sub-compact EV is in the running for World Car of the Year, World Urban Car, and World Electric Vehicle.

Hyundai has a strong track record at the World Car Awards. In 2024, the IONIQ 5 N won World Performance Car, while the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 claimed triple victories in 2022 and 2023, including World Car of the Year.
The INSTER stands out with its distinctive design, advanced technology, and impressive range of up to 370 km. It also supports rapid charging, reaching 10-80% in around 30 minutes.
A jury of 96 automotive journalists from 30 countries selected the finalists, with winners to be announced on April 16, 2025, at the New York International Auto Show.
