Honda is set to make history at the 2025 Rose Parade in Pasadena with its “Electrified Dreams” float, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and its goal of achieving zero emissions for all mobility products and operations by 2050. This marks the first time in the parade’s 136-year history that an entirely electrified vehicle fleet will lead the event.
Electrified Innovations on Display
The fleet includes Honda’s first all-electric SUV, the Prologue, the Acura ZDX Type S performance SUV, and the compact Motocompacto e-scooter.
Designed for urban mobility, over 100 Motocompactos will support parade volunteers, while the Prologue serves as the Official Sound Car, equipped with a Bose sound system and smart tech like Google built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay. The ZDX Type S, with nearly 500 horsepower, will pace the parade as Acura’s most powerful SUV.

The “Electrified Dreams” float highlights the balance between nature and technology with LED lights, roses, and symbolic elements representing Honda’s dedication to preserving the environment for future generations. Jennifer Symington, assistant vice president of Marketing for American Honda, emphasized the float’s message of inspiration for a carbon-neutral future, made fun and exciting with Honda’s electrified products.
Opening Spectacular and Entertainment
The float will take center stage during the 2025 Rose Parade Opening Spectacular, “Best Day Ever,” featuring performances by Aloe Blacc and Kiesza. The event will also showcase Xtreme athletes performing daring stunts amid dazzling pyrotechnics.
Honda’s Partnership with the Rose Parade
Honda’s relationship with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses spans over six decades, becoming the parade’s first presenting sponsor in 2011. The company has provided official vehicles for the event since 1994 and has been a float participant since 1977.
