Honda’s MFG Day events are designed to inspire the next generation of workers by offering insights into advanced manufacturing technologies and teamwork.

Meredith Reffey, workforce partnerships leader at American Honda, emphasized the company’s enthusiasm for the event, saying it allows students to see the exciting possibilities in the field.

Each facility will provide unique experiences. In Alabama, students will learn about the production of Honda’s Odyssey, Pilot, and other models, while in Indiana, they’ll explore the assembly of the Civic Hatchback and CR-V.

In Ohio, students will visit multiple plants to see how Honda builds engines, hybrid systems, and more. North Carolina visitors will explore the creation of all-terrain vehicles, while in South Carolina, they’ll see how side-by-side vehicles are manufactured.

Honda has been producing vehicles in North America for over 40 years, now employing more than 33,000 associates across 18 plants. The company continues to invest heavily in its manufacturing capabilities, with more than $24 billion in cumulative investments and over $562 billion in parts purchases.
