GM Defense, a subsidiary of General Motors, will debut its new “Next Gen” tactical vehicle prototype at AUSA 2024, the Association of the U.S. Army’s annual meeting and exposition, held from October 14-16, 2024, in Washington, D.C. The vehicle, based on the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ZR2, will be displayed at Booth #7809, Hall D, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Designed to be autonomy-ready with options for both manned and unmanned operations, the vehicle also provides enhanced durability with lower maintenance needs and reduced fuel consumption.
The Next Gen vehicle is available in two-, four-, and six-seat configurations, optimized for multi-mission capabilities, including command and control, casualty evacuation, counter-drone operations, and more. At AUSA 2024, GM Defense will also showcase its Stable Tactical Expeditionary Electric Power solution and the Infantry Utility Vehicle, demonstrating the latest innovations in mobility, power, and defense technology.
