Achieving a top rating is uncommon in the fully electric MINI Cooper’s segment due to price sensitivity, making this recognition significant.

The new MINI Cooper impresses not only with its signature go-kart driving experience but also with its high safety standards.

It scored 89% for adult occupant protection, 87% for child safety, 79% for safety assistance, and 77% for pedestrian protection—figures usually associated with larger vehicle classes.

Key safety features include a standard pelvic belt pretensioner, accident avoidance technology, and comprehensive driver assistance systems.

This achievement follows the MINI Countryman’s 5-star rating in December 2024, reinforcing MINI’s commitment to safety alongside driving enjoyment.
