Bentley Motors proudly announces the completion of the first fourth-generation Continental GT, coinciding with the 136th birthday of Walter Owen Bentley. Finished in Tourmaline Green with a Gravity Grey and Mandarin interior, this car mirrors the specification featured in the launch film and the unofficial ‘Underwater Speed Record’.
Initially part of the UK Press Fleet, the car will later join Bentley’s Heritage Collection, where it will be preserved indefinitely. This model is the first of many, with customer cars to follow, each customizable with 46 billion configuration possibilities.
Andreas Lehe, Bentley’s Board Member for Manufacturing, expressed pride in the craftsmanship, noting that the Continental GT is a “true masterpiece” with its vibrant Tourmaline Green finish and a luxurious interior featuring modern quilting, 3D leather textures, and dark chrome accents.
The new Continental GT Speed offers a perfect mix of supercar performance, luxury, and practicality. It boasts an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, combining a 4.0-litre V8 engine with a 190 PS electric motor, producing 782 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque.
The car accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and provides an electric-only range of 50 miles (81 km), with a total range of 534 miles (859 km).
This Continental GT will join Bentley’s Heritage Collection, which spans 45 vehicles, from the 1919 3-Litre EXP2 to the latest Continental GT, showcasing over a century of the brand’s iconic craftsmanship and innovation.
