Ford Motor Company achieved significant growth in 2024, with U.S. retail sales rising 6% year-over-year—double the industry average—and a 17% surge in Q4.
Total annual sales reached 2,078,832 vehicles, up 4%, bolstered by strong performance across its diverse lineup of powertrains and vehicle types.
The F-Series, America’s best-selling truck for 48 years, showcased its versatility with gas, diesel, hybrid, and electric models, driving a 21% Q4 sales increase.

Electrified vehicle sales hit a record 285,291, up 38%, with Ford leading U.S. hybrid truck sales and ranking as the second-largest electric vehicle brand. The Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and E-Transit achieved record sales, while hybrid trucks like the F-150 and Maverick saw surges of 47% and 31%, respectively.
SUVs also performed well, with Explorer named America’s best-selling three-row SUV and Bronco family Q4 sales up 38%. Lincoln recorded its best retail sales in 17 years, led by strong demand for the Nautilus (+50% annually) and Aviator (+62%).
Ford Pro vehicles excelled, with Transit capturing 46% of the full-size van market and Super Duty Q4 sales up 30%.
The Ford Pro Intelligence software platform saw a 27% increase in subscriptions, while BlueCruise hands-free driving reached 300 million cumulative miles. Entering 2025, Ford is preparing for key product launches, including new versions of the Expedition, Navigator, and Bronco, to maintain its momentum.
