Ford is lowering the cost of its BlueCruise hands-free driving technology and simplifying access for U.S. customers. Starting October 1, 2024, BlueCruise will cost $495 annually or $49.99 monthly. Customers with BlueCruise-equipped vehicles will see the new pricing in their next payment.
New Ford owners can choose between a one-year plan or a one-time purchase option at the time of vehicle purchase.

The one-year plan will be included or available as an option depending on the model, while the one-time purchase costs $2,495 on select 2025 models, offering permanent access without needing renewal.
A 90-day free trial is also available, after which customers can activate the service monthly or annually based on their needs.
BlueCruise is expanding to more 2025 Ford vehicles, including electric, hybrid, and gas-powered models like the Ford Explorer, Expedition, F-150, F-150 Lightning, and Mustang Mach-E. Currently, over 492,000 BlueCruise-equipped vehicles are on the road globally, with users logging over 3.5 million hours of hands-free driving across 244 million miles.
