Ford is marking the 60th anniversary of the Mustang with a special edition package that brings back the classic Brittany Blue paint color. This iconic shade, first introduced in 1967, will be offered as part of the limited-production Mustang 60th Anniversary package, joining the previously announced colors Wimbledon White, Race Red, and Vapor Blue. Only 1,965 units of this commemorative model will be produced, a nod to the car’s debut year in 1965.
Mustang enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the Brittany Blue edition can register their interest on Ford’s website from August 16 to 19. The lucky customers selected to purchase this special edition will be notified by August 21 and must choose a dealer within seven days. For those attending the 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise, the Brittany Blue Mustang will be on display at Ford’s Mustang Alley in Ferndale, Michigan.

The Mustang 60th Anniversary package in Brittany Blue is available exclusively with the Fastback body style and a 10-speed automatic transmission. It comes loaded with premium features, including the 401A package, Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, Brembo brakes, a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle, a 12-speaker B&O sound system, and Space Gray upholstery. The car also features unique 20-inch wheels in Dark Gravity Gray with retro-inspired center caps, exclusive side graphics, a new grille with silver-accented functional air intakes, and smoked housings for the Nite Pony headlights.
In addition to the nostalgic paint and exterior features, the package includes special 60th Anniversary badges that reimagine the original 1965 Mustang cloisonné emblems, adding a modern twist to the classic design. The price for this exclusive model is set at $65,245.
Further celebrating Mustang’s legacy, Ford is also introducing a new digital gauge cluster design inspired by the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. This updated cluster displays classic white dials during the day and features an icy blue backlight at night. The software update, which also delivered the 1967-68 digital gauge cluster earlier this year, will automatically roll out to 2024 Mustang owners starting August 17 at midnight, provided they have Automatic Software Updates turned on.
