Designed for duty, the Expedition SSV comes in two configurations: a two-row model with vinyl floors and cloth seating for durability, and the Expedition Max SSV with three rows, including a PowerFold® third row for added flexibility.
A standout feature is the Ford Split Gate, unique in its class, offering quick gear access or a stable platform supporting up to 500 pounds.
Inside, a 24-inch panoramic display replaces the traditional gauge cluster, delivering vital information at eye level for enhanced situational awareness. Features like Dark Car Mode for discreet stakeouts and PAITRO for secure cargo access underline its focus on operational needs.
Powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine producing 400 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque, the Expedition SSV includes a 4×4 driveline with a new two-speed transfer case, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist™, and a towing capacity of up to 9,600 pounds. Safety and assistance features, such as BLIS® with Trailer Coverage, ensure easy hitching and backing for versatile field use.
Ford’s 75-year history of serving law enforcement is reflected in its extensive police vehicle lineup, including innovations like the Police Interceptor® Utility Hybrid, the F-150® Lightning® Pro SSV, and the Mustang Mach-E® pilot programs. The Expedition SSV is assembled at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant and proudly represents Ford’s commitment to durable, safe, and purpose-built vehicles for law enforcement.
