Florian Huettl to Remain CEO of Opel/Vauxhall with Extended Term

Rüsselsheim – Opel Automobile GmbH has extended Florian Huettl’s contract as CEO for another three years.

The 48-year-old has led Opel and Vauxhall since June 2022 and took on responsibility for Stellantis’ German operations in December 2024.

Xavier Chéreau, Chairman of Opel’s Supervisory Board, praised Huettl as a seasoned industry leader, citing his ability to position the brands for the future amid challenging conditions. “Florian has shown strong leadership and deep market expertise.

We’re confident he’ll continue to drive Opel, Vauxhall, and Stellantis Germany forward,” Chéreau said.
