In 2024, FIAT celebrated its 125th anniversary with over 1.2 million sales, leading markets in Brazil, Italy, Turkey, and Algeria with innovative models and market dominance.

FIAT marked its 125th anniversary in 2024 by solidifying its position as the top global brand of Stellantis, achieving over 1.2 million sales worldwide.

The brand dominated in four key domestic markets—Brazil, Italy, Turkey, and Algeria—across three continents, each led by standout models like the Strada, Panda, Egea, and Doblò.

In Brazil, FIAT captured a 20.9% market share, selling over 521,000 vehicles, with the Strada maintaining its position as the country’s best-selling car for the fourth year running.

New hybrid models like the Pulse and Fastback also debuted, signaling the brand’s push toward innovation.

In Italy, FIAT led the market with a 10.8% share, selling over 190,000 vehicles. The Panda remained the best-seller, while the Ducato topped the commercial vehicle segment, helping FIAT Professional secure a 23.6% market share, including strong gains in the electric van market.

Turkey saw FIAT dominate for the sixth consecutive year, achieving a record 11.2% market share. The Fiat Egea, the nation’s favorite model since 2016, sold over 84,000 units, and the Doblò bolstered the brand’s stronghold in light commercial vehicles.

In Algeria, FIAT recorded a remarkable 62% market share, selling more than 64,000 vehicles. The Doblò led sales with 27,000 units, supported by production from the Oran plant, a cornerstone of FIAT’s African strategy.

Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO, praised the brand’s global success, highlighting its leadership in Brazil and South America, its dominance in the European EV and A segments with the 500e and Panda, and its strong commercial vehicle lineup.

Looking ahead, FIAT is poised for growth in 2025 with the launch of the Grande Panda in both electric and hybrid versions, alongside a new 500 Hybrid.

2024 was a milestone year for FIAT, cementing its legacy as a global automotive leader.
