It represents not only a technological step forward but also a statement of cultural identity — a symbol of Italy’s design heritage, crafted in the very country that has shaped its legacy.

Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO, emphasized the car’s role in the brand’s mission:
“The 500 Hybrid offers affordable electrification and iconic style — proof that social relevance is at the core of FIAT’s mission. It’s a vehicle that not only meets the needs of modern urban drivers but also sustains Italian industry and culture.”
The hybrid 500 reinforces Mirafiori’s importance within Stellantis’ manufacturing network, with this expansion bolstering both production capacity and job stability at the historic plant.

Alongside the FIAT Panda built in Pomigliano, the 500 remains a proud ambassador of “Made in Italy”, with over 70% of units destined for export.

The new hybrid variant will enable customers across Europe and beyond to continue choosing FIAT’s beloved city car, now enhanced with a cleaner, more efficient powertrain.

As FIAT continues its journey toward sustainable innovation, the 500 Hybrid stands at the crossroads of tradition and progress — a vehicle born in Italy, ready for the world.
