Fiat and Kartell are unveiling the Fiat Grande Panda Kartell at Milan’s Salone del Mobile (April 8–13), marking a bold fusion of automotive and design innovation.
This one-off “laboratory” vehicle, born from the collaboration between FIAT Centro Stile and the iconic Italian design brand Kartell, showcases how sustainable materials and creative cross-industry contamination can shape the future of mobility and design.
Dressed in a striking red livery with contrasting Tasmania Blue interiors, the Grande Panda Kartell captures attention with its pop-inspired styling and meticulous detailing.

Kartell’s logo is creatively integrated into the car’s design—from the wheels to the upholstery—while inside, guests will find playful touches like thermo-embossed branding and even a hidden Kartell lamp in the cluster, celebrating transparency and design flair.

The project highlights the shared values of both brands—innovation, sustainability, and Italian craftsmanship—and revisits a partnership dating back to the 1950s.

This creative workshop explores advanced materials like Polycarbonate 2.0, a renewable, lightweight polymer used in Kartell’s eco-collections, and proposes sustainable processes such as “tex to tex” recycling, repurposing textile waste from Kartell’s Foliage armchair into seat fabrics made with 60% recycled polyester.

Presented in a vibrant, immersive setting designed by Ferruccio Laviani, the Fiat Grande Panda Kartell isn’t just a car—it’s a statement of how design and mobility can evolve together.
The model stands as a symbol of FIAT’s return to the B-segment and its continued leadership, blending style, innovation, and sustainability in a fresh, collaborative vision.
