A Ferrari owned by former Formula One driver Michele Alboreto is selling for £170,000
The F355 Berlinetta was bought by the Italian star in 1995 after he retired from F1 the year before.
The Milanese driver had ended a 14-year career which included five seasons racing for Ferrari.
In 1985 Alboreto pushed for Ferrari’s first drivers’ title since 1979 but eventually settled for second place.

Alboreto took delivery of the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta in August 1995, as reported by Luxury Auto News.

Its listing states: “It was supplied by Parisian dealer Charles Pozzi SA while the driver was living in Monaco.
“The sleek coupé was built in Nero Carbonio over a beige leather interior, the colour combination it still shows today while the Ferrari also retains its matching-numbers Tipo F129 engine.

“Accompanied by its Ferrari books and manuals showing main dealer servicing on selected years the F355 was most recently serviced by Scuderia Baldini in August 2024 and one month later the workshop fitted four Bridgestone Potenza tyres.

“Having been awarded Ferrari Classiche certification in December 2024, the car is offered with its red book.
“Offered with the provenance of a famous Ferrari F1 driver as its first owner, Scuderia fans should not miss the opportunity to bid on this Classiche-certified F355 Berlinetta.”

It is being auctioned by RM Sotheby’s.
