Rimac has been stirring up curiosity lately by wiping its Instagram and dropping cryptic teasers, and now we’ve got a juicy spy shot to fuel the speculation.
An anonymous source sent in a photo of a camouflaged supercar, identified as a Rimac by its wheel center caps and headlights, which closely resemble the Nevera. The car was spotted in Los Angeles, likely en route to Monterey Car Week, where all the latest and greatest supercars make their debut.

The real mystery is whether this vehicle is an entirely new model, a mid-cycle update of the Nevera, or perhaps a special edition. The image reveals some key differences from the current Nevera, including new wheels, a larger fixed rear wing, and a redesigned nose.
Notably, the front end now sports a shark-like design with larger radiator openings and new vents ahead of the front wheels, ditching the faux grille seen on the first-gen Model S. Additional changes include new points in the front splitter, though the side air intakes and other elements like the door mirrors and seating appear unchanged.
With the car still under heavy camouflage, it’s hard to pin down exactly what’s new versus what’s being cleverly hidden. Rimac could be following McLaren’s strategy of creating different models with similar core structures, or we might be looking at an updated version of the Nevera designed to keep the competition on its toes. Either way, all eyes will be on Monterey Car Week to see what Rimac unveils.
