EVgo Inc., one of the largest public fast-charging networks, and General Motors (GM) are expanding their partnership to install 400 fast-charging stalls at key locations in major U.S. cities.
These flagship stations, featuring 350kW chargers, ample lighting, security, and pull-through access, will cater to the growing number of electric vehicle (EV) drivers. Each station will offer up to 20 stalls, with select locations hosting even more, ensuring sufficient charging infrastructure in high-demand areas.

Slated to begin opening in 2025, these stations will be strategically placed near amenities like shopping and dining for added convenience during charging.
The initiative aims to set a new standard in EV charging with a focus on customer satisfaction, offering reliable, comfortable, and high-power charging options.
This expansion is part of EVgo and GM’s broader collaboration, which includes building a total of 2,850 DC fast-charging stalls nationwide. They celebrated the opening of their 1,000th stall in August 2023, with plans to reach 2,000 stalls by the end of 2024.
EVgo and GM are committed to enhancing the EV experience with innovative, customer-centric solutions that support the growing EV market.
