Lexus Spain has unveiled a stunning artistic collaboration at Art Madrid as part of the second edition of Lexus Art Month.
This year, the fully electric Lexus RZ was transformed into a moving canvas by renowned Spanish painter Marta de la Fuente, blending Japanese and Spanish cultural elements in a one-of-a-kind creation.
Titled “Itadakimasu”, meaning “bon appétit” in Japanese, the project celebrates the deep connection between the two nations’ culinary traditions.

The artwork on the RZ’s bodywork features a striking collage of landscapes, architecture, and signature dishes from both cultures. It captures the contrast between the quiet, ritualistic experience of eating sushi and the lively, expressive atmosphere of a Spanish dinner.
Through this piece, De la Fuente pays homage to chefs and culinary artisans, reflecting the Japanese philosophy of shokunin—a dedication to mastering one’s craft.

Visitors can admire the Lexus RZ Itadakimasu at Cibeles Palace in Madrid until March 9, as part of the 20th edition of Art Madrid, a major contemporary art fair attracting over 100,000 visitors annually.
With this initiative, Lexus continues its commitment to supporting the arts, reinforcing its presence at prestigious global events like the Venice Film Festival, Milan Design Week, and the Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.
