Bentley has unveiled its first-ever four-door supercar, the all-new Flying Spur, now in its fourth generation and continuing its legacy of nearly 20 years as the pinnacle of luxury performance sedans.
The latest Flying Spur debuts with the high-performance Speed variant and features Bentley’s cutting-edge Ultra Performance Hybrid system, showcasing a vast array of capabilities. On one end, it offers a serene electric-only range of up to 47 miles (76 km), making it ideal for city driving and emission-free zones.
On the other, the car combines a 782 PS V8 engine and electric motor to deliver jaw-dropping acceleration, achieving 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds—half a second quicker than its predecessor. Bentley’s blend of extreme performance and unparalleled luxury justifies its claim to the title of the first four-door supercar.

While the exterior retains much of the elegant yet muscular look introduced in 2019, the true innovation lies beneath the surface. A new electrical architecture powers a state-of-the-art suite of technologies, ensuring this Flying Spur offers the most modern automotive systems in any luxury sedan.
Interior refinements enhance an already opulent cabin with more personalized stitching options, the addition of 3D diamond-pattern leather extending to doors and pillars, and wellness features like intelligent air ionization and postural adjustment for all seats.
Furthermore, the introduction of the My Bentley App Studio provides a seamless experience by integrating a variety of apps directly into the vehicle’s interface.
The Speed’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain blends a 600 PS twin-turbo V8 with a 190 PS electric motor, generating an impressive 1,000 Nm of torque. This allows for effortless driving in any mode, whether it’s pure electric, electric-boosted, or traditional combustion.
Compared to the outgoing Flying Spur Speed, this new model boasts an 11% increase in system torque and a 19% boost in power, making it the most powerful Bentley sedan to date. The hybrid setup allows the engine to be fully shut off when running in EV mode, enhancing both efficiency and emissions performance, while the turbochargers have been optimized to reduce complexity and heat emissions.
The all-electric range provides more than enough power for city driving, with the 190 PS e-motor generating 450 Nm of torque. Its 25.9 kWh battery delivers up to 47 miles (76 km) of electric range, and full recharging takes just 2¾ hours, a significant improvement thanks to enhanced battery and charger capacity.
The total driving range for the Flying Spur sits at an impressive 515 miles (829 km), while the car can operate in full electric mode at speeds of up to 87 mph (140 km/h).
The Flying Spur Speed comes standard with Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis, which includes features like Dynamic Ride, All-Wheel Steering, and an electronically controlled Limited Slip Differential, ensuring precise handling and comfort.
Advanced ESC control software allows for various driving styles, making the vehicle adaptable to all conditions. The car’s chassis also benefits from a near-perfect weight distribution, with active torque vectoring that enhances agility across each axle. New twin-valve dampers separately control rebound and compression, ensuring that driving dynamics are sharp in Sport mode while comfort is noticeably improved in Comfort mode.
Design enhancements emphasize the car’s performance focus. Dark-tint brightware gives the exterior a sporty, technical edge, while a new Speed-specific grille and redesigned bumper and rear diffuser offer a fresh, aggressive look.
Owners can opt for a carbon fiber finish in the aero package, while new LED Welcome Lamps project Bentley’s iconic Wings logo onto the ground when the doors open. The wheels have also been updated, with the Ten Swept Spoke 22” design available in various finishes to suit individual tastes.
Inside, Bentley’s signature craftsmanship is on full display. The cabin boasts new seat designs with 3D diamond quilting and refined perforation patterns, while dark-tinted brightware and the optional Dark Chrome Specification trim give the interior a contemporary yet understated feel.
The much-lauded Bentley Rotating Display, offering a choice between a 12.3” high-definition screen, three analogue dials, or a smooth panel of handcrafted veneer, remains an optional feature. Additionally, there are tens of billions of configuration possibilities, allowing owners to create a completely bespoke vehicle through Bentley’s Mulliner division.
A palette of 101 paint colors can be expanded to any hue from Bentley’s archives, and bespoke color matching is available. Inside, 22 primary leather hues and 700 possible combinations ensure every customer can personalize their Flying Spur to perfection.
Meanwhile, three audio systems are offered: the standard 10-speaker setup, a lifestyle-oriented 1,500 W Bang & Olufsen system, and a 2,200 W Naim system for true audiophiles. Laminated acoustic glass minimizes outside noise, making the cabin a quiet sanctuary.
In terms of technology, the Flying Spur is packed with the latest advancements. The fourth generation’s electrical architecture allows for cutting-edge driver assistance, infotainment, and wellness systems.
The optional Wellness Seating Specification includes Seat Auto Climate and Postural Adjust, which ensure passengers remain comfortable by regulating temperature and pressure on muscles throughout the journey. Additionally, the car’s air quality system syncs with satellite navigation, adjusting settings when needed, such as in tunnels.
Convenience features include wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and over-the-air map updates. The My Bentley App Studio introduces a range of apps directly integrated into the infotainment system, covering everything from navigation to entertainment. Customers can also monitor and control vehicle charging, use Remote Park Assist, and even pre-condition the car’s climate before starting a journey.
To celebrate the Flying Spur’s launch, Bentley teamed up with motorsport legends. 1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill and rising star Lia Block showcased the car’s prowess on the track, with a surprise appearance by F1 legend Martin Brundle, who arrived in the Bentley EXP Speed 8, the car he raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2001.
