The latest Flying Spur debuts with the high-performance Speed variant and features Bentley’s cutting-edge Ultra Performance Hybrid system, showcasing a vast array of capabilities. On the other, the car combines a 782 PS V8 engine and electric motor to deliver jaw-dropping acceleration, achieving 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds—half a second quicker than its predecessor. Compared to the outgoing Flying Spur Speed, this new model boasts an 11% increase in system torque and a 19% boost in power, making it the most powerful Bentley sedan to date. The hybrid setup allows the engine to be fully shut off when running in EV mode, enhancing both efficiency and emissions performance, while the turbochargers have been optimized to reduce complexity and heat emissions.

The all-electric range provides more than enough power for city driving, with the 190 PS e-motor generating 450 Nm of torque. Its 25.9 kWh battery delivers up to 47 miles (76 km) of electric range, and full recharging takes just 2¾ hours, a significant improvement thanks to enhanced battery and charger capacity.

The total driving range for the Flying Spur sits at an impressive 515 miles (829 km), while the car can operate in full electric mode at speeds of up to 87 mph (140 km/h).

The Flying Spur Speed comes standard with Bentley’s Performance Active Chassis, which includes features like Dynamic Ride, All-Wheel Steering, and an electronically controlled Limited Slip Differential, ensuring precise handling and comfort.

A palette of 101 paint colors can be expanded to any hue from Bentley’s archives, and bespoke color matching is available. Inside, 22 primary leather hues and 700 possible combinations ensure every customer can personalize their Flying Spur to perfection.

Meanwhile, three audio systems are offered: the standard 10-speaker setup, a lifestyle-oriented 1,500 W Bang & Olufsen system, and a 2,200 W Naim system for true audiophiles. Laminated acoustic glass minimizes outside noise, making the cabin a quiet sanctuary.

To celebrate the Flying Spur’s launch, Bentley teamed up with motorsport legends. 1996 F1 World Champion Damon Hill and rising star Lia Block showcased the car’s prowess on the track, with a surprise appearance by F1 legend Martin Brundle, who arrived in the Bentley EXP Speed 8, the car he raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2001.
