The Lidu RV Aqulia 360 prototype offers a high-tech upgrade for those seeking alternatives to cramped van life or fixed homes.
Unveiled at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf show, it features advanced technology beyond just fancy lighting and touchscreen controls, though no release date or price is available yet.
Built on an all-aluminum AL-KO chassis with a torsion axle and fifth-wheel attachment, the Aqulia 360 is lighter than most travel trailers, weighing in at 2,645 pounds.

It includes aluminum wheels, Bridgestone tires, and a durable body made from automotive-grade steel and aluminum. It has a water system with an 8.18-gallon fresh water tank and a 6.08-gallon grey water tank, and it’s easy to tow, even for beginners, thanks to AL-KO’s stabilizer system and self-leveling outriggers.
Measuring 17 feet long, 7 feet wide, and just under 7.7 feet tall (9 feet with the pop-up roof extended), it offers 6.6 feet of interior headroom. It features 360W solar panels, an 800-ah lithium-ion battery, and a 3-kW inverter. Storage includes a 66-pound roof rack and 10.6 cu-ft front compartment.
Inside, the camper includes a kitchen with an induction stove, sink, refrigerator, and heated/cooled cup holders. It also features a Freucamp portable toilet, bed, and seating made from materials used in Lexus luxury vehicles.
High-tech amenities include a 13-inch touchscreen control system, voice-activated functions, an Alpine six-speaker system, and ambient lighting with a constellation sunroof. Additional security comes from five external cameras and electrochromic privacy glass.
Cooling is handled by a Dometic 2.7-kW air conditioner, and heating by a Highland diesel air heater. The rear doors open for an outdoor experience, though no U.S. sellers are currently available for this prototype.
