Alfa Romeo has announced the appointment of Cristiano Fiorio as its new Head of Global Marketing and Communication. Reporting to Santo Ficili, CEO of the Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands, Fiorio will bring his extensive expertise in branding, motorsport, and strategic project leadership to the role.
Fiorio, born in Turin in 1972, has been with Alfa Romeo since 2021. He previously led the Formula 1 project, leveraging the motorsport platform to enhance the brand’s global visibility and maximize returns on investment.

Fiorio also spearheaded the development of the 33 Stradale project, which marked Alfa Romeo’s return to custom-built vehicles after more than half a century.
Joining Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in 2013, Fiorio held key positions, including Head of Brand Marketing Communication for the EMEA region, and led the team that introduced the New 500 BEV in 2019. His career also includes leadership roles in advertising, digital strategy, events, and sponsorships across FCA brands, as well as experience in tourism and sporting event management.
Fiorio succeeds Eligio Catarinella, who has been named Head of Stellantis Sales and Marketing for the Enlarged Europe region.
