The fourth-generation Continental GT and GTC Speed have made a grand debut at Goodwood’s Festival of Speed. These stunning cars have captivated audiences with their hillclimb appearances and a unique display in the bespoke “FOShtank.” This latest version of Bentley’s grand tourer features an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain delivering 782 PS and 1000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful road-going Bentley ever created. Despite this impressive power, the new model achieves a significant reduction in CO2 emissions to just 29 g/km.
The new chassis system enhances the car’s performance, offering the most balanced and natural handling experience to date. Innovations include two-chamber air springs, dual-valve dampers, Bentley Dynamic Ride, eLSD, and torque vectoring. These features provide superior body control and unprecedented ride comfort for a Continental GT, with a 49:51 rear-biased weight distribution for the first time in the car’s history.

The latest generation showcases a bold new design with single headlamps, marking the most significant change to the Continental GT’s appearance in two decades and the first mainstream Bentley to feature single headlamps since the 1950s.
Inside, Bentley continues its tradition of world-leading craftsmanship and luxury with new wellness seat technology, air ionisation, 3D leather textures, modern quilting, and dark chrome finishes. The four-seat interior sets a new standard in design and quality.
During the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Continental GT Speed can be seen on the famous hillclimb twice a day. Additionally, a third car is on display in a playful “underwater” setting near the Kinrara Enclosure, celebrating an unofficial ‘Underwater Speed Record’ achieved in a tunnel at 208 mph (335 km/h).
The ‘FOShtank’ display is a modified version of Bentley’s glass ‘Toy Box’ units used at their Dream Factory campus in Crewe, England. This bespoke version includes a custom-built fish tank, adding a whimsical touch to the festival’s theme of “Horseless to Hybrid – Revolutions in Power.”
