ChatGPT significantly improves Citroën’s voice recognition capabilities, making interactions more natural and fluid. This enhancement allows drivers to perform tasks such as adjusting the temperature and navigating to destinations with greater ease and accuracy. Beyond basic commands, ChatGPT can engage in real conversations, providing answers to a wide range of questions, from historical facts to travel tips and recipes.

Tests conducted in May 2024 demonstrated that the new system reduces misunderstandings by nearly 68%, and its fluidity and interactivity increased the use of voice recognition by almost 70%. ChatGPT can be activated in three ways, depending on the model: saying “Hello Citroën,” pressing the voice recognition button on the steering wheel, or pressing the microphone widget on the display.

ChatGPT transforms family journeys into enriching experiences, offering educational quizzes and games for all ages. It simplifies daily tasks for parents, such as organizing shopping lists and finding nearby playgrounds or family-friendly restaurants. By maintaining a relaxed atmosphere, ChatGPT enhances on-board serenity, offering suggestions for soothing playlists, bedtime stories for children, and recommendations for rest areas with family facilities.
Customer Accessibility and Subscription Options
For customers ordering a Citroën vehicle after July 3, 2023, ChatGPT is included in the Connect PLUS pack, free for the first 12 months, with an option to renew for €9.90/month. Existing customers can add ChatGPT as an on-demand feature for €1.5 per month or €15 per year through the Connected Navigation services contract.
