A Chevrolet truck – which has appeared in AN XBox game and IS due to be made into Hot Wheels toy – set to sell for £700,000
The 100mph, 1965 C10 is known as the C10 Slayer.
It started life as a rusty old work truck but has been taken apart and re-built by father and son Doug and Brad DeBerti of DeBerti Design
Finished in 2021 the truck is now famous and an online sensation.
The type of vehicle appeared in the XBox game Forza Horizon 5.
But it is also set to be made into a Hot Wheels kids toy next year.
Kitted out with a 6.2-litre engine, a 5-litre Whipple supercharger exposed on the bonnet, wide-body fenders, a front spoiler and rear spoiler it is a one-off monster of a motor.
The impressive set up gives the motor a whopping 900 horsepower, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
The matte-black exterior is highlighted with metallic-red rims, while the interior combines a carbon-fibre look with a slick leather finish.
The entire build took the father-and-son team a year, working 10 to 15 hours a day on it.
The C10 Slayer is set to feature in Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 video game and an actual Hot Wheels collectible.
The truck goes under the hammer at the Barnett Jackson Scottsdale Fall auction that runs until Sunday (13 Oct)
A Barnett Jackson spokesman said:: “C10 Slayer was created by professional vehicle builders Doug and Brad DeBerti and the build was documented from day one on DeBerti’s YouTube channel.
“C10 Slayer has been the cover of Street Trucks magazine, was a three-time SEMA booth show truck and has made appearances with Hoonigan.
“This custom pickup will be featured in Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 vehicle video game in late 2024.
“And is also currently pending to become a Mattel Hot Wheels truck in 2025.”
