In the lead-up to the 2024 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Honda, HRC, and Acura showcased a stunning lineup of hybrid performance machines at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The event celebrated Honda’s cutting-edge hybrid power unit (PU) technology, a cornerstone of its electrification strategy, with a display of award-winning, race-dominating vehicles and a roster of legendary drivers.

The lineup included the Acura ARX-06 endurance racer, an IndyCar, the innovative CR-V Hybrid Racer, and the production Honda Civic Hybrid, underscoring Honda’s unmatched versatility in hybrid power. Few manufacturers can rival Honda’s breadth of expertise in developing world-class hybrid systems that excel in both racing and production applications.
Taking the wheel of these extraordinary machines were some of the biggest names in motorsport. Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen and teammate Sergio Perez of Oracle Red Bull Racing were joined by Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson of Visa Cash App RB.
Representing IndyCar, six-time champion Scott Dixon and three-time Daytona 24 Hours winner Colin Braun showcased Honda’s dominance in American motorsport. Formula Drift champion and Pikes Peak winner Daijiro Yoshihara added flair to the lineup, demonstrating the adaptability of Honda’s technology across disciplines.
