An influencer has revealed how car owners can fix an extremely shaky engine with nothing but a cup and some liquid.
Going by the name Driver Ms May, the motoring expert regularly shares driver-friendly hacks online.
Now she has revealed to her 3.5million followers what to do when a vehicle’s engine stops running smoothly.

And the solution is pretty straight-forward, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
In a video that has racked up 200,000 views, May uses a cup of orange liquid to illustrate just how much the engine is shaking.
The culprit appears to be the spark plug, which is a key component for engines to be able to run.
“When I first saw this car, I knew where the problem was,” May says.
“It’s this spark plug.
“Let’s take it apart today and have a look.”
After pulling out the small metal spark plug which is covered in dirt, she goes ahead and gives it a clean.
She continues: “There’s so much carbon deposit.
“Next, let’s clean it.”
She places it in a cup of cleaning solution with a blue tint which she pours from a bottle.
After soaking it for a short time, the carbon deposit comes straight off the spark plug.
May then dries the plug on a piece of tissue, leaving it looking shiny and as good as new.
May says: “Okay, now the spark plug is clean.
“Next let’s install it back.
“Now the spark plug is installed.
“Next, let’s get in the car and start the engine, and see if the engine still shakes.”
May gets back inside her car and starts the engine before placing the cup of water back on top of it.
The shaking appears to have completely stopped and the cup remains still.
May, who is from China, adds: “Now it’s running very smoothly.”
Her followers were very impressed with the tip and quickly took to the comments.
