A car graveyard full of £200,000 of vintage motors has been discovered in an overgrown woodland

Urban explorer Tokyo Matilda stumbled across this petrolhead gold mine.

It had a Daimler, Triumphs, an MG, a Morris Minor and even a fire truck.

Many of the vehicles being reclaimed by mother nature date back to as early as the 1950s.

Due to the condition and the rareness of some of the motors the graveyard Tokyo estimates that the lot would be worth a couple of hundred thousand pounds.

In the images you can see a 1984 Dennis SS135 Fire Engine, the Dennis brand was used by the fire service up until 2007.

Two vintage Triumphs were spotted in the graveyard, which included a 1971 Triumph GT6 valued at around £20K and a 1963 Triumph Spitfire.

It is unknown as to why the cars have been abandoned for so long, with many of the vehicles road tax expiring in 1995.

The vehicles are scattered across a woodland area with some located in half fallen down sheds.

Tokyo, 20, a YouTuber, from Yorkshire told Luxury Auto News “I love cars and have been a mechanic with my grandad and dad since I was a kid so it was a dream come true.

“I always take the pictures and pass them onto my grandad as he doesn’t have social media.

“That’s the main reason I started doing car photography.

“Found it by searching on maps for overcrowded woodlands and noticed all the cars in half fallen down sheds.

“Some of these vehicles date back to the 1950s and many haven’t been used or on the road since the early 80s.

“For every set of 10 cars they were protected by shed-like structures.

“But due to being neglected and forgotten the majority have fallen in on the cars now.”
