This event, the first major gathering at Bugatti’s Molsheim headquarters since the 110-year celebrations in 2019, honored the brand’s rich history and those who have contributed to its legacy.

Exclusive ‘La Grande Première’

On June 20, over 300 guests, including Bugatti customers, partners, and employees, attended the exclusive ‘La Grande Première’. They were welcomed by Bugatti’s board of management, led by CEO Mate Rimac, President Christophe Piochon, and Managing Director Hendrik Malinowski. Guests were treated to a display of iconic Bugatti models, including the Type 57SC Atalante, Type 35, and Type 41 Royale, which encapsulate the essence of beauty, performance, and luxury that define Bugatti.

Showcasing Bugatti’s Heritage

The event also celebrated Bugatti’s remarkable 20-year journey from the Veyron to the Chiron, featuring rare models like the Chiron Profilée and the one-of-one La Voiture Noire. Guests enjoyed an aperitif with Bugatti Carbon Champagne and admired the latest Bugatti Lifestyle creations, including Jacob & Co timepieces and the Baby Bugatti II from The Little Car Company.

Following a fine dining experience and elegant music, anticipation peaked as Bugatti prepared to unveil the Tourbillon. Christophe Piochon recapped the brand’s 115-year history, paying homage to visionary figures like Ettore Bugatti, Romano Artioli, and Ferdinand Piëch. CEO Mate Rimac introduced the Tourbillon, emphasizing its design philosophy “Form follows performance”.

With a dramatic flourish, the Bugatti Tourbillon emerged, driven by Bugatti Pilote Officiel Andy Wallace and accompanied by Mate Rimac. The car features an all-new chassis, performance-honed body, a new V16 engine, and an electrified powertrain, embodying the timeless craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology synonymous with Bugatti.

Bugatti’s Director of Design, Frank Heyl, highlighted the meticulous design process and visionary ideas behind the Tourbillon. The new hyper sports car sets a benchmark for future Bugatti models, combining beauty, luxury, and performance.

Ahead of the World Premiere, select Bugatti owners enjoyed a “Petit Tour” around Alsace, featuring a private dinner and a convoy through the region led by Bugatti Pilote Officiel Pierre-Henri Raphanel. The event included a visit to Bugatti’s headquarters and showcased remarkable Bugatti creations.

On June 22, over 200 Bugatti enthusiasts gathered to experience the Tourbillon up close. Despite the rain, members of various Bugatti clubs and esteemed collectors arrived in classic Bugatti cars, celebrating the brand’s rich heritage and future vision.

Family Day

Bugatti dedicated an afternoon to a Family Day for Bugatti Rimac colleagues and their families. The event included exclusive walks around the Bugatti Atelier, heritage tours, and activities for children, celebrating the dedication and hard work of Bugatti employees.

Throughout the Tourbillon World Premiere activities, every moment celebrated Bugatti’s past, present, and future.
